Why does my cat seem sad and uninterested in anything?

He recently went to the vet to be treated for an upper respiratory infection and got off medication the 13th of this month. so this is the fourth day off treatment. does that have anything to do with it? we got a new kitten 2 days ago and he seemed very excited and happy and he tried playing with her but the new kitten was scared and wouldn't play. and all he did yesterday was sleep and he barely even ate. we tried playing with him but he didn't care. so we thought maybe he needed more rest and now this morning he's the same. what could cause this? do you think he's sick?

What is wrong with this cat I found?

I found a very injured emaciated cat outside my house. It was having trouble walking so I brought it in to try to nurse it back to health. It is so skinny you can feel every rib and it feels like maybe bones are broken. It wouldn't eat cat food and seems to have an upper respiratory infection. I gave it chicken today and it scarfed down a thigh and half a breast and it's stomach swelled up on one side and is having more trouble getting around.I don't have the money to go to the vet so what should I do and what could be wrong?

What kind of Respiratory problem is this?

some random times of a day i'll feel like i can't breathe and i need to constantly yawn until i get a nice satisfiying breath..during these times it feels kind of like not enough air is going in my lungs...i was diagnosed with asthma but i really don't think that's what this is...it happen/ alot when i'm in bed and when i start to fall asleep, sometimes i jerk awake because i get scared that i'll stop breathing.
