I met the girl of my dreams. should i ask her out?

when i said "girl of my dreams", i meant literally. i've been having dreams of having gay sex with a middle eastern-looking girl(i'm a girl, and a lesbian). this girl looks very similar to the girl in my dreams. she has great cultural Heritage, sharing irish, chinese, italian, spanish(as in, from spain), native american, indian(as in, from india), and most notably, israeli blood. when i talked to her, i didn't tell her about my dreams, but we became friends very quickly. so far, i don't know if she's gay or not, and the thought of asking her felt awkward, so i didn't. her religion is judaism, her favorite colors are white and gold(she was wearing a white dress in my dreams), and her favorite foods are spaghetti, tacos(irony...), her mom's special chicken salad, and her #1 favorite is curry, which she says she isn't really picky of the curry's flavor. she seems very nice, and i've already taken a bit of a liking to her. should i ask her if she's gay? i don't want things to get awkward, to or ruin our friendship. but if she said yes, should i ask her out?
