He recently went to the vet to be treated for an upper respiratory infection and got off medication the 13th of this month. so this is the fourth day off treatment. does that have anything to do with it? we got a new kitten 2 days ago and he seemed very excited and happy and he tried playing with her but the new kitten was scared and wouldn't play. and all he did yesterday was sleep and he barely even ate. we tried playing with him but he didn't care. so we thought maybe he needed more rest and now this morning he's the same. what could cause this? do you think he's sick?

I bought the car of my dreams.. the type of car is not important.. I put ground effects, and many more upgrades.. I am looking for the name of this one movie, I think it was British-made, I think it probably came out in the early or mid 90s. It's a romantic movie about these three guys who, I think, live in London and they all meet an American girl who they fall in love with, but they are also extremely good friends. However, they come to value the girl more than their friendship. One of the guys ends up winning the girl. But he's upset about having to break up with his friends so he goes to see this one guy who lives in his building who he thinks is a psychiatrist, but the guy is actually a construction worker. He misreads the labels for people living in his apartment building so he ends up mistakenly consulting the construction worker and he tells him the whole story. Why have I always been picked on my entire life?

I have this gut instinct that people always prejudge and scrutinize the very essence of my being without giving me a chance. I want to get into circuitry and electronics, and I recently picked up a breadboard at Radioshack. I didn't get any other components because I don't need what types I will need. I know the function of resistors, but I'm pretty confused about V=IR. Is voltage the power of the power source used, i.e. a 9 volt battery? Also, what is the difference between the current and the circuit? And I'm confused because I see resistors with thousands of ohms while, in the equation, you usually don't deal with thousands of volts. I haven't been able to find a nice simple explanation. I have been charged with 3 counts of abuse of position. I'm so scared, what sentence will I get?

I worked for a rail company and loaded a rail discount of 75% onto two oyster cards in January 2011, one for myself and one for my wife, after hearing people were doing this at work. I stupidly gave into temptation. This probably saved us about 55 pound a month. However, in April, my colleague asked me if I wanted an annual travelcard for free. I said yes and gave this to my wife who was using it from April. She got caught with the ticket on May 23rd and they subsequently found her oyster card. I went down to the police station and admitted to them that I loaded the oyster card discount and issued the ticket (I didn't want to get anyone else in trouble). They arrested me and found my oyster card as well. My wife is being charged with 2 counts of possessing a fraudulent article. She did not know she was not entitled to these tickets since she knew I worked for the underground plus I get 75% off all over travel. Hopefully, she will be OK. The police raided our house and took our computers (even my housemate's laptop), phones, documents, passports and iPods! Obviously, suspecting some deeper scam. It doesn't go further than me using my ticket machine to put a discount on 2 oyster cards at work. I so frightened because I read other cases of abuse of position where people have taken thousands of pounds from other people and been imprisoned. My cat's head is twitching and sneezing a little. Is she sick?

I've had my shelter cat for almost 6 months and she'll be almost 2 years old. I've been on a trip for a week but have checked in with my cat and just today, I noticed that she has been sneezing alittle (more than usual, but not alot to deem "sick.") and when she is awake and sleeping, she'll twitch her head and sometimes one of her front legs. I have no idea how long it has been going on and she has never done the twitching before. She's still active but alittle less than normal. She is still eating, drinking and using the litter normally. So NAT said not everything on the news is correct. Now I have to agree with him, but as we may know there has been debates about this in the past year (Most notably FOX vs. everyone else). I want to discuss the FOX issue. When this had just started up, I saw an article (I can't find it now, but it was on MSNBC's website) saying that FOX was not to be trusted because they were biased (they said that conservatives run the thing). In this article they had and example which showed their bias (besides the fact that saying one news station is biased also says you have an agenda aka being biased). This example was that (not a direct quote since i dont have the article but close to it) "During the 2008 election, NBC was more pro Obama and criticized McCain. FOX about equally criticized Obama and McCain." Now if you say "ohh that's not true, all the people on FOX are conservatives", remember that Geraldo (of Geraldo At Large) is pro Obama. Now I just wanted to bring this up, but not because I associate myself with Conservatives (which I dont) but I feel this liberal vs conservative stuff is actually pretty stupid if you look at it from the outside, and fortunately/unfortunately, I say the "Conservative" FOX News looks more "Fair and Balanced" than other news programs

Kind of, but everyone has their obsessions. I am half-Japanese. People always want to talk to me like I know everything about it. I have to let them know I do not. I like the Japanese culture and am very proud to be a part of that in some small way, but I was born in America. I really feel bad about disappointing people, but I am very proud to be an American. Sometimes, that pride is tested, but we all have our faults. The Japanese culture is a very good culture, but in no way is it perfect. Their drive for success is a perfect example of this. They are nice too one another, but they are also very hard on one another too. It is the whole Star Wars Yoda thing, "do, or do not. There is no 'try'." That attitude would not be tolerated in American society. This is proven every time you hear on the news about a parent being jailed for spanking their child. Why did my guinea pig die?

i filled her food the day before yesterday and noticed this morning she hadn't eaten very much and she was acting off so i took her out of the cage. her eyes were watery so i wiped it away and when i was petting her she didn't squeak or "purr" but i had to get to work so i put her back in her cage. i came home tonight and heard her bells going a little bit then it was quiet i went to go to bed and found her dead. it looked like she had been kicking and was in distress (possibly why her bells were going off) when i removed her from the cage it looked like there was stuff in her mouth, but im not sure what it was. her cage sits on the floor in front of my bedroom window next to my bed. it was 94 degrees out today and we had the air conditioning on, but i forgot to close the blinds in my room could that have caused her death? she was about a year and a half old and was perfectly fine for the past year and up to i would say yesterday into today. she had a respiratory disease previously that was treated with beytrol so im pretty sure it was not respiratory.

Yes it very much so sounds like a upper respiratory infection. I would try to see if there is a emergency hospital around your way and try my hardest to get him there ASAP! When Piggy's are sick they most likely have been sick for a while and were hiding it, so you have no idea how far it has progressed. Also when they are sick there symptoms get increasingly worse within a short period of time. Deff. take him to vet tomorrow morning if you cant find an emergency hospital tonight. What should be done about a Red Eared Slider with clogged nostrils?

I have a young red eared slider who was lost for almost four weeks. Our neighbour found him caked with mud. After letting him rest in low-level, warm water for a few days, I returned him to the regular turtle tank. In both tanks, he didn't seem to eat at all. Upon closer inspection, I realized his nostrils seemed clogged. There was a tiny opening, but he couldn't breath out of it. His nostrils were almost invisible. His throat seems to inflate for a bit before releasing the air through his mouth. He also isn't eating anything. I fear that he could have a respiratory infection. However, there is no mucus or liquid coming out of the nostrils when held upside-down. He does not have lethargy because he scrambles onto the floating dock quickly. I have relocated him to the low-level water tank again. What could I do to help him?

First, a DTR( Dietitian Technician)this requires only an associates degree but makes only 25k-30k a year. a RD(registered dietitian) I hear they make upwards of 50k a year. There is not a huge job market demand for these positions, but Americans aren't getting any healthier :-) and the job seekers for these positions are not numerous. Or seek a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. An associates degree will leave me with the basics and further education can branch into specialties, cardiac, respiratory, gynecology. The earning potential with this degree I feel is a lot less limited than that of the Dietetics field. I am most passionate about the Dietetics but feel an urge to seek a better paying degree. Working in a dust cloud?

I have a summer job at a barn that has coarse sand footing everywhere (stalls, arena, walkways). It's dry, so we and the horses kick it up and it gets everywhere. I guess somewhat low crime rates. So basically, is this normal, or should I take medication? The most ironic thing is that I'm scared of the roof falling on my head or of drowning or of suffocating to death. Because google couldn't give me a good response, I came here. I myself suffered from feeling like I couldn't breathe as a child, and was diagnosed with asthma. Looking back, I don't think I ever had asthma. I would sit there in the guidance office with a nebulizer and know that I didn't need to use it. Looking back, I think that it was all just psychological. I notice that you didn't mention any type of dairy product, and it could be that the little upset also impacted the numbers of beneficial gerbies you need in the intestine for proper digestion. There are also two kinds of fiber to consider, water soluble and insoluble. Water soluble obviously holds water, and is the lubricant to help things move along the line. Insoluble fiber is the indigestible stuff that provides bulk to move along. Your diet may be a bit too high in the insoluble sort, and too light with the water soluble type. Try eating something like prunes or raisins, eating some live culture yogurt, and if all else fails- try a glass of drinkable fiber mix- which is water soluble fiber. And back off some on the bran flakes and pasta for a bit, opt instead for a nice leafy salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. That should help you get things straightened out.

My fiance appears to have respiratory issues when it comes to being around excessive amounts of smoke, whether it's tobacco smoke, marijuana smoke, incense or a combination. well for the like thousandth time in the past year I have once again fell for a loser. I really liked this guy and he turned out to be just like the rest. The only thing I can say Im proud of myself because this one I didnt have sex with. Quitting smoking after two years?

Im twenty years old and have been smoking since I was eighteen. Im in overall good health despite my bad smoking habit. I made it through the fire academy at nineteen and im now currently an EMT. I feel bad because I smoke and a lot of the calls we get are cardiac and respiratory arrest and heart attacks. I need to quit smoking for the sake of my life so i can continue helping others. FLovent inhaler in 6 year old?

My son just started using FLovent inhaler for his asthma. I'm concerned about side effects-most notably, he's now afraid of any noises during the night, extreemly anxious about them. How much DE do i put in my filter? and what is wrong with it?

Can anyone suggest a natural/hypoallergenic moisturiser?

I'm allergic to lanolin, and face creams containing it give me respiratory problems (though oddly they don't have an adverse effect on my skin.) A pharmacist told me the other day that even if lanolin isn't listed amongst the ingredients, some of the chemicals that are listed on the jar could be related to lanolin, and in any case I could be allergic to other chemical ingredients as well. I think they are worried about a rookie head coach trying to manage a group of underachievers. They are all good players, but that team is full of guys with no heart and no desire. After Kobe and Fisher, there is nobody on that team that is self motivated or driven. You saw how they laid down and died in the Mavs series. It's like a fighter getting hit and deciding he doesn't want to fight anymore. Brian Shaw has been groomed and will make a great coach one day, but after the playoff failure the Lakers might feel the need to do something big. Aside from a trade, they can't really go and get any big name players so they may have to try and get a bigger name coach. I actually think a new coach like Shaw would be a good thing because he will be hungry and it might translate to the team. All that being said... I dont think there is even a basketball season next year so it wont matter.

Which Gym should i go to?

Here's the situation: So my parents got me a 2 year all sport pass to 24 hour fitness for Christmas, but they said they can return it no problem, if i decide to get a YMCA pass instead. 24 hour is pretty close to my house, and I can walk there in about 15-20 minutes. It is also notably cheaper than the YMCA pass. Many people from my school go there, and i could also walk there after school in about 15 minutes. The YMCA is a more expensive pass, and is about 4 miles from my house and it would take me hours to walk there (not just a flat road, many hills and obstacles). The Gym is nice, but it's also a place where many old people and annoying ladies work out. However, all my friends have passes to the YMCA, and it's more fun and easier to work out with friends. One of my friends can give me rides there until the end of summer, in three months when i get my license. Please help me decide which gym to go with and tell me why. Think of yourself in my position, and don't just say the gym you go to.

kay so the other night i was in bed and i looked to the back of my closet and i saw little faces but didnt think much of it so i went to bed again and it felt like someone was laying beside me and touching my leg then i looked up and there was this sand feather like stuff in the air it didnt fall at all but i put my fingers through it it was the weirdest thing i did that for a little while then went to bed kinda thinking it was the adavan i took and if it was a ghost kinda cool, then i felt like someone was sucking on my nipple so i rolled over and ater i saw again so turned on light and sat on my bed a there was two different boys sitting in parts of my room plus the girl in closet but when i looked at them they dissapeared i tried to talk to them and say why are you hear can you talk and stuff like that i told them to leave but they wouldnt go so i got my grandma and she didnt believe me because they wouldnt show them selves to her.. she kept thinking i was crazy and we argued for hours they would do things behind her that i would notice and she couldnt see. or id see the air moving kinda fuzzy.. i was taking a shower and two faces showed up in the shower cutain so i rubbed them away and they came back. i was siitting on couch and the pillows looked like they wear lookin at me and had faces and when id walk around house other things looked like they were moving. my grandma took me to hospital and they let me go. when i got back one of my garabge bags with clothes in it had a face and eyes just looking at me so ignored it and tried to tell them but they didnt know what i was talking about and made me go have a nap i went under the blanket texing and i looked up and it was a face so i quickly flipped it off me. my mom took me later that day to our storage unit and i swear one came along i saw it in the back speaker and when she got out it went in the head part of the seat like little sands or something and it made a really detailed constantly moving picture it went through the air thing in the car and out side where i saw it moving around in the wind then it looked like it got bigger and turned into a grim reeper type thing very large and long but no one eles was around, then we left and it didnt come with us i dont think, ive never had anything like this happen before and its really annoying nobody believes me they think im phyco. my mom took me to the hospital again later and we were in this room and i was crying and looked the chair she was on behind looked like another grim reper type thing and white film started laying out beside it in the air and some bird like fluttering thing was in it but it was on the side so again nobody but me saw. laying in the hospial bed looking at the walls thousands of spirits came flying and me and around even going into my feet and body trying to lay themselves, all different shapes sizes and types. then when i got in the car i looked down at the dark floor and it looked like a hole bunch followed me when the light went on they were gone, i went to bed and turned off light and there was a whole bunch of creatures and spirits and ghosts in there some that didnt seem like they were too nice and my cat even caught something in his mouth and was eating it a it was kinda fluttering and stuff so i grabbed it from him after he bit some of it and went to show my dad and it went invisable, they all think im hillusinating but i know im not this is real and its scary, i just want them to go away there wrecki ng my life please help mee :( i dont know what to do and why they keep following me. even the hospital bed i was on had a material padding and it seemed like it had a face on the corner and likeee ugghhh

Am I the only one who believes this, like in British sitcoms from recent to the ones going back decades, like On The Buses, Are You Being Served, Man About The House, everybody seems to have a job but they live in share houses and dont have cars, they are always eating basic cheap stuff like sausage and mash and complaining that they cant afford bus fare or to go on a holiday or a night out, but American sitcoms are just the opposite, many characters often seem to be unemployed but they always have a nice modern house or apartment and a car and they are always going out to eat at restaurants and money is never mentioned, notably shows like Seinfeld and Friends.

kay so the other night i was in bed and i looked to the back of my closet and i saw little faces but didnt think much of it so i went to bed again and it felt like someone was laying beside me and touching my leg then i looked up and there was this sand feather like stuff in the air it didnt fall at all but i put my fingers through it it was the weirdest thing i did that for a little while then went to bed kinda thinking it was the adavan i took and if it was a ghost kinda cool, then i felt like someone was sucking on my nipple so i rolled over and ater i saw again so turned on light and sat on my bed a there was two different boys sitting in parts of my room plus the girl in closet but when i looked at them they dissapeared i tried to talk to them and say why are you hear can you talk and stuff like that i told them to leave but they wouldnt go so i got my grandma and she didnt believe me because they wouldnt show them selves to her.. she kept thinking i was crazy and we argued for hours they would do things behind her that i would notice and she couldnt see. or id see the air moving kinda fuzzy.. i was taking a shower and two faces showed up in the shower cutain so i rubbed them away and they came back. i was siitting on couch and the pillows looked like they wear lookin at me and had faces and when id walk around house other things looked like they were moving. my grandma took me to hospital and they let me go. when i got back one of my garabge bags with clothes in it had a face and eyes just looking at me so ignored it and tried to tell them but they didnt know what i was talking about and made me go have a nap i went under the blanket texing and i looked up and it was a face so i quickly flipped it off me. my mom took me later that day to our storage unit and i swear one came along i saw it in the back speaker and when she got out it went in the head part of the seat like little sands or something and it made a really detailed constantly moving picture it went through the air thing in the car and out side where i saw it moving around in the wind then it looked like it got bigger and turned into a grim reeper type thing very large and long but no one eles was around, then we left and it didnt come with us i dont think, ive never had anything like this happen before and its really annoying nobody believes me they think im phyco. my mom took me to the hospital again later and we were in this room and i was crying and looked the chair she was on behind looked like another grim reper type thing and white film started laying out beside it in the air and some bird like fluttering thing was in it but it was on the side so again nobody but me saw. laying in the hospial bed looking at the walls thousands of spirits came flying and me and around even going into my feet and body trying to lay themselves, all different shapes sizes and types. then when i got in the car i looked down at the dark floor and it looked like a hole bunch followed me when the light went on they were gone, i went to bed and turned off light and there was a whole bunch of creatures and spirits and ghosts in there some that didnt seem like they were too nice and my cat even caught something in his mouth and was eating it a it was kinda fluttering and stuff so i grabbed it from him after he bit some of it and went to show my dad and it went invisable, they all think im hillusinating but i know im not this is real and its scary, i just want them to go away there wrecki ng my life please help mee :( i dont know what to do and why they keep following me

Is Windows XP compatible with 16 bit ISA hardware?

I have access to a lot of legacy hardware, most notably 16 bit ISA sound and network cards. I'm currently converting a bunch of P2/P3 Pentium PC's (which all have 16-bit ISA slots) into XP machines. I would like to be able to use these legacy devices and save my standard PCI cards for modern computers but, it seems that these devices don't show up in my hardware manager under XP, not even under unknown devices. Are these cards compatible with XP at all? Or did XP (as a 32x operating system) drop all 16-bit support?

He has been groomed as the successor to Phil for the last few years, and he will continue the triangle offense. The first day of my last period was 7 weeks ago. They are usually regular. Me and my boyfriend had intercourse without a condom twice after I got off my period in that same month. I am on the 'mini' pill birth control and I take it at the same time everyday. Also, I was taking antibiotics at the same time for an upper respiratory infection. I hear now that the antibiotics can mess with the effectiveness of the pill. All last week I was extremely tired, sensitive to smells and very nauseous. Has anyone ever witnessed a "sux race"?

Sux, or Suxamethonium Chloride, or Succinylcholine Chloride, or Scoline is a powerful muscle relaxant used in anaesthesia. My 4 yr old son has high IGE levels in blood, could the body be reacting to cancer?

My son is getting ready to turn 5, and has been blood tested for allergies 3 times, and always come back negative. A skin test will be performed next month. Parasitic tests on his stool has also come back negative. He is currently in the hospital for the second time with sever sinus and respiratory infection, and they found his IGE level to be 2900! Is it possible that his body is trying to fight off cancer? Is there a connection between IGE levels and cancer?

My rats have started fighting?

I have two rats, Dexter (White dumbo) and Tony (Russian blue) They are 6 months old. Since I have had them they have fought each other. Up until recently it has just been play fighting where they pin each other down and groom. The other week I found a scab on the back of Tony's neck, then over the next few days there were more, I kept a close eye, Tony always seems more dominant but they both get on, they follow each other round and snuggle together. Then I noticed a scab on Dexter's ear, this is now a small tear. The definitely are fighting although I haven't witnessed it despite spending hours watching them. They both have little scabs. I don't want to split them up because I know they do get on and have heard that it could be worse for them being separated from their companions. I cant afford to get another cage and don't have the space. Dexter also has respiratory problems which is a priority at the moment, so due to this I can't afford to get them neutered unless really necessary because of his on going treatment at the vet (Very expensive). I was just wondering if this was just an age thing that they will grow out of. Other than all this they seem very happy and possibly the most loved rats in the world

I see where you're coming from, however some of these cards (like change of heart) are banned. If you were just beginning the game, then I would have to say this would suffice before getting better cards. If you want like Duelist Kingdom, you're going to need cards like Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Swords of Revealing Light etc. But if you want Battle City, then you have a lot more variety. Basically if you're keeping it old school, I would say these would work, but there are much better cards from the old series such as Dark Magician, or Gemini Elf, or Relinquished.

Do vets ever make you feel guilty even though you are giving your animal the best care you can?

this month i have paid hundreds for my cats and am giving them vet care from cheque to cheque. it just so happened that my new cat got pregnant as she ran away for a few days. i took her in for her respiratory problem, got that fixed, then her rabies shots and next am getting her spayed. i can hardly keep up with the vet bills and i feel they are pushing me to get additional examinations like blood work, chest xrays when i really dont see the need for them and it is extra money thrown in the mud for me... i feel like they are accusing me of not getting those done! no one is helping me out financially and i dont work that much at all. have you guys ever went through anything like this?
