How many Israelis died in the holocaust?

I don't think it was very many if any. The holocaust seems to be the default justification for Israels outrages but wasn't the Holocaust an act of mass murder visited by various nations upon the Jewry and Gypies and disidents of various Nations but most notably NOT Israel.
