Since I can not reply to the answers you gave me, about my 4 week old kittens.?

My 5 kittens do have a mom, it just seems like she is nursing them less and less these days. I don't feel like she is doing a "good enough job." The mom is very young her self about 7 months. I have never seen her I think it's called stumulate, like help them go to the bathroom. I show her and then she does it. Also 4 out of 5 of them have crusty eyes, she does not clean them, I take a bowl of warm water and a soft rag and clean them my self, it that normal for kittens? My vet said they might have a upper upper respiratory infection, but they dont act sick, they hop, play and do everything. Any advice on how i can treat them at home? also just to be sure it is ok for them to drink water even tho momma is nursing them, but not as much as she should.
